About this artwork
The love of art makes my life worth living. It is the ray of light that brightens up some dark hours for me. What makes a work of art so charming?
It captures a moment, a thought, a feeling and makes it visible and tangible for the viewer.
Holly is inspired by the wonderful Holly Golightly in the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's."
A woman with charm, heart and style. A timeless icon of joie de vivre.
The background is cardboard painted with acrylic… paint.
For the collages I use pictures from newspapers and magazines, as well as excerpts from my own acrylic paintings.
