About this artwork
Balance arises from the coordination of muscles and brain. It can be learned and requires attention and practice. Maintaining the balance between closeness and distance, giving and receiving, tension and relaxation is a physical and mental challenge. Setting the right priorities, remaining flexible and dynamic, and connecting with other people is a lifelong task.
The three protagonists in this work achieve this with ease and elegance.
I tried to… capture the fragile balance of life through colorful collages and vibrant acrylic paints dancing together.
