I position myself at the boundary between shadow and sunlight. I enter this landscape as one enters a memory. I work with loose, overlapping brushstrokes, letting them follow the rhythm of the terrain, without rigidity, allowing the color to suggest more than it describes. The trees in the background rise dense and vertical, creating a contrast with the luminous expanse of the foreground. The grass moves in gentle undulations, and the small white…
flowers (grandparents, as I called them when I was little) appear like flashes, almost suspended in the air. The light not only illuminates: it guides the gaze and marks a silent journey. This painting is born from my fascination with nature, with those small corners open to all, where one can stop, observe, breathe, and listen to the silence.

France
Conchi Artero is a painter with a background in Political Science and Fine Arts studies in Grenoble. A member of the Salon d'Automne in Paris and the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors (AEPE), she has exhibited extensively in France and Spain. Her technique falls within the realm of Figurative art, akin to Impressionism, where she employs simple, luminous brushstrokes to capture the magic of light.
"I don't paint the landscape as a stage set; I experience it as a space for encounter. Light is the true essence of my paintings: a light that reveals not only nature, but also an inner state. Each work is born from the desire to preserve that unrepeatable moment in which contemplation becomes communion. It's not just a painting style; it's a way of being in the world."
It seeks to convey serenity and a deep connection with nature, inviting those who contemplate its works to discover peace, emotion and the essential beauty that resides in what is suggested rather than what is obvious.
