About this artwork
The city is filled with art and people. Sometimes the two blend in together. The photos are taken with a canon camera
and then additional photography, textures and colors are layered together. This adds to the feeling of exciting chaos one feels while walking and observing so much in the moment. Yet slowing things down there is a sense of peace as well. The image is then printed onto 100% cotton acid-free fine art paper using premium archival… inks and mounted onto a wood panel with 1.5" sides. Then paint is added and finally several layers of encaustic wax is added for protection and effect.
