About this artwork
The city is filled with people coming and going. Everyone just a blur until getting close enough to slow down and those around come in to focus. Catching a glimpse of this woman at peace in a corner cafe was a precious moment to take in and observe. The photos are taken with a canon camera and then additional photography, textures and colors are layered together. The image is then printed onto 100% cotton acid-free fine art paper using premium…
archival inks and mounted onto a wood panel with 1.5" sides. Then paint is added and finally several layers of encaustic wax is added for protection and effect.
