I don’t depict her as a figure, but as a raised trace struggling to form itself. By layering textures over translucent digital glazes, I build an image that reveals and obscures at once — a surface where light grazes without fully disclosing. The cold blue on the left feels like a breath, as if she might…
fall or dissolve, while the muted red acts like a compressed heartbeat beneath the stone. I work with this quiet friction: between emergence and collapse, matter and air, call and silence. For me, Leucosia becomes a modern siren — not sung, but sensed — a presence that exists in the threshold where perception hesitates.
