About this artwork
Vestige
This ceramic vase is part of my exploration of time and inner archeology. Its form recalls a half-collapsed building, where fragments of past structures remain visible. I wanted the piece to feel like something unearthed, yet still carrying a quiet presence.
Made of chamotte clay with a technique of hand-building, the work was fired twice, including a glaze firing at 1050°C.
Vestige is both vessel and fragment, an object that holds not only… space but also traces of memory and transformation.
