About this artwork
Elizabeth has always used her own photographs from which she works. She may use 15 elements or more, from different photos to make a painting. Though she has always been interested in birds, she has not delved into the special photography methods she would need to see detail. She uses photographs of birds with permission from the photographers. Therefore, in order to make these paintings in her unique style, she has put the birds in different contexts.…
