About this artwork
There are moments when a landscape is not merely a place, but a state of being. A space where nature reflects something deeply human—something we may not fully be able to articulate, yet still recognize. The mountain peak rises not only as a physical formation, but as a symbol of what we seek, what we fear, and what we must go through to understand ourselves.
The mountain we climb, is both a longing and a burden. On one hand, it represents something… we desire—a goal, a direction, a challenge we willingly pursue because it gives meaning, perhaps even hope. On the other hand, it carries the weight of life’s inevitable trials. Obstacles, loss, uncertainty, and inner conflicts accompany us upward like invisible weights in every step. The same mountain that draws us forward can also confront us with what we would rather avoid.
Within this duality lies a form of “uncertain certainty.” We do not know what awaits us at the summit, and yet we continue to climb.
