About this artwork
In my work "Endless Shore," I explore the tension between vastness and inner fragility. A narrow wooden walkway leads into the dunes and disappears into the horizon—an image that embodies longing, transition, and disappearance in equal measure.
I'm fascinated by how this path is both an invitation and a boundary. It connects the eye with the distance and opens up a space where stillness and movement, clarity and uncertainty coexist. For me, this… is more than just a glance: the obvious always leads to an inner resonance.
This work belongs to the Nordic Silence series, which visualizes the Nordic light, the expanse of coastal landscapes, and the meditative condensation of the moment. Endless Shore is her central work—a picture of transition that inextricably interweaves external landscape and inner sensation.
