About this artwork
Coronaflux is part of my Haloform series, exploring the point where radiance, movement, and matter seem to merge. In this work, deep oceanic blues rise through layers of pink, magenta, gold, and ember-like orange, creating a form that feels caught between a breaking wave and a solar flare.
I wanted the composition to carry a sense of upward momentum, as though something luminous is emerging from beneath the surface. The fluid contours shift between… geological strata, fire, and water, while the elongated format gives the piece an almost portal-like quality. For me, Coronal Tide reflects transformation in motion: a meeting place between depth and light, turbulence and renewal.
