About this artwork
I called this piece Light Bearer — a figurative mixed media sculpture born of contrast. It crawls low, grounded and watchful, yet its wings catch the light with polished bronze details. I used painted cement and beaded elements to evoke a creature that feels both ancient and imagined — part human, part myth.
Its anatomy is subtly distorted: six toes on each foot suggest something not quite human, as if nature veered slightly off course. I don’t… know exactly who he is. Perhaps a quiet guardian, a shadow-dwelling figure, or a dream left behind. But I know he belongs where light flickers and silence holds its breath.
