About this artwork
The first layer of the painting was created during a period of personal rupture, when the pictorial gesture still carried an explicit narrative — traces, cuts, circles like fragments of memory.
A few months later, I returned to this surface to transform it. By overlaying the initial narrative, I allowed a more abstract, more breathable field to emerge. It's not an erasure, but an act of acceptance.…
The body disappears here to give way to an energetic partition — a field of consciousness after the tension.
The raw texture of the jute remains visible under the acrylic, a reminder that every transformation retains its material memory.
