The Festival is a portrait created in acrylic, inspired by a lively and joyful moment. I wanted to capture the spontaneous energy of childhood: that mix of curiosity, play, and full expression that lights up the face.
The bright colors, slightly distorted perspective, and quick gestures convey the atmosphere of a festival — the noise, the laughter, the music — and how a child can immerse themselves in it with unfiltered intensity.

A Czech-born painter living in France, she develops a figurative practice centered on the body as a site of inner transformation. Nourished by training in visual arts and fashion design, her painting—influenced by expressionism—blends anatomical rigor with instinctive gestures.
