About this artwork
This portrait is part of a series where I combine my two passions: astrology and art. Here, I sought to represent not only a face, but also the invisible threads of her birth chart. The colors, lines, and gestures that traverse the background are inspired by the planetary aspects and dynamics of this woman's chart.
I wanted to create a psychological portrait, where expression and light interact with a more subtle inner architecture. The gestural… traces, almost abstract, evoke the tensions, impulses, and symbolic forces that make up her inner world.
It is a work where the realism of the face meets the poetry of the cosmos — a way for me to explore the soul through image and the language charged with astrology.
