About this artwork
The first image was a Polaroid portrait. Using a process I developed, I removed the Polaroid from its developing frame and further processed it. I then combined it with a video still on photo paper. This was then scanned or photographed. Afterward, I lightly digitally edited it and printed it on canvas with a stretcher frame in a plastic floater frame. The gaps in the frame were filled with crocheted coconut rope. The artwork can stand alone or be…
combined to form an altar consisting of 10 images. This special treatment makes the work an original. A prototype may be made for exhibition purposes, but this will remain in my possession and not for sale.
