About this artwork
In this work I have represented the Crystal Palace located in El Retiro in Madrid (Spain), capturing the interaction between architecture and nature. With a hyperrealistic style, the brush strokes capture the brilliant sparkles and transparencies of the glass windows that make up this exemplary design of the so-called iron architecture.
The painting shows the liveliness of autumn with its vegetation tinged with warm colors. The soft light filters… through the dry leaves of the trees that surround the Palace, giving life to the landscape. It is a celebration of ephemeral beauty, a reminder that harmony exists in the union of the created and the born. A painting that radiates serenity and poetry, inviting reflection and calm.
