About this artwork
The idea was to give prominence to the flow of water as a metaphor for the passage of life. With brush strokes of oil, I capture the serene light filtering through the trees, the vibrant shine of the water, and the unwavering strength of the rocks. Each element is painted with great detail, seeking to inspire peace and balance. It is a reflection of eternal beauty and stillness that invites contemplation and connection with the soul of the landscape.…
The painting represents the Arroyo de la Montaña de Peñalara, the highest in the Sierra de Guadarrama of Madrid (Spain). To create the work I have used both photographs taken in situ and “au plein air” sketches. Signed and titled on the back of the canvas.
Oil on Velázquez linen canvas (100% linen) and top quality pine wood frame with 6 x 2 cm slats, with assembly and handmade covering.
