About this artwork
I actually couldn’t remember what satsang stood for when my painting told me its name! But the title came to me as I finished my work. To me the piece is about a state of peace and balance. About all things working with one another in cooperation and fulfillment. Every entity has its place and is vital and necessary to the other. Beyond the state of acceptance - it is wholeness, that without the other we are not, cannot be complete. BALANCE.
Afterwards… I researched the literal meaning of the word “satsang” and it is “the company of truth.” Very fitting.
