Through the concept of "Entrechamps" (Between Fields), Johanna-Lisa's work aims to create a space for communication between nature, dreams, and reality. Her goal is not so much the mastery of the landscape as the pictorial escape it evokes. Matter and light allow her to experience the power of color and its narrative sequences. Areas of non-figuration, along with the near-constant presence of floral elements, generate a tension that frames the canvas. But the escape itself remains off-screen. Marked by micro-events of visual expression, it is mysterious and invites us to question our relationship to the world.
