About this artwork
"Eloise" is part of my ongoing series "Fashion Show", a recurring theme in my artistic work.
I am particularly fascinated by the models' gazes and expressions. As they walk before the audience, their expressions often seem frozen – simultaneously self-assured, reserved, and beautifully aloof. It is precisely this captivating duality between public sovereignty and private vulnerability that inspired me to create this work. When viewing "Eloise,"… the viewer should feel a captivating energy – as if they were stepping behind the barriers and experiencing firsthand the charged atmosphere backstage. The painting captures my very personal perception of the models: that stillness that reigns just seconds before they step into the dazzling lights of the catwalk.

I paint between two worlds, moving in the space between the fleeting moment and lasting memory. My work is an exploration of the feeling of "rootlessness"—a journey where I find belonging not in a specific place, but in the act of perception itself.
