About this artwork
Well, I squeezed out one more acrylic before the end of the season. This one is a bit of a remake, and I stripped the paint down to the canvas and brought back to life with literally hundreds of tiny pieces of acrylic. The work was challenging to complete, and for its small stature is has serious wall presence weighing in at roughly 10 pounds in pure acrylic! I have also added some highlights in ink and a couple additional canvas pieces to accentuate…
the quality of the paint. As for my inspiration, it is multi-faceted...some positive, some negative...so take this work for its physical honesty and stamina, its presence and its persistence of nature. Enjoy the color, movement and form.
