I'm finally back at it with my acrylics and with more to come! This work was inspired by the iconic arm candy, Birkin bags, and pops off the wood panel with bold color. Its smooth, soft surface really shows off the simplicity of form in contrast to the bright colors allowing the eye to pleasurably… view the work.
This new series may be smaller in stature as well as higher in price, but comes with a serious punch due to the labor and material intensive protocol for creating them.

Jon Parlangeli is a passionate American painter and sculptor who has widely exhibited his work throughout the U.S. Fascinated by the process of creation, he composes works that experiment with color and the physicality of paint.
