About this artwork
This painting is dedicated to 10 years of work in this style and as the title infers...its been a journey...lots of experimentation, successes, failures, abandonment for the sake of my sanity, rekindling of the relationship for the sake of my sanity, and onward it goes! Either way they are all over the world now, and I'm always sad to see one go!
I could go on a longer diatribe about this, but basically these paintings are the essence of what makes… abstraction perfect. From every edge, roll, rough cut and glossy color splash they evoke passion, joy and activate something cerebral in all of us.
The work is acrylic (paint) with a touch of alpaca and is odd sized. The work rests on a 12x12 panel.
This new series may be smaller in stature as well as higher in price, but comes with a serious punch due to the labor and material intensive protocol for creating them.
