I'm finally back at it with my acrylics and with more to come!
I used to own a gourmet restaurant some years back and for some reason the activity of this work reminded me of cooking back in the day...something about the beautiful chaos of creating edible masterworks so to speak. Cooking is… every bit as much of an artform as painting, and this work brings me back to some serious moments of pure passion.
This new series may be smaller in stature as well as higher in price, but comes with a serious punch due to the labor and material intensive protocol for creating them.

Jon Parlangeli is a passionate American painter and sculptor who has widely exhibited his work throughout the U.S. Fascinated by the process of creation, he composes works that experiment with color and the physicality of paint.
