COMPLETED 06/16 AND DRYING-SHIPS LATE JULY/EARLY AUGUST 2024
I am having a blast with lose free-wheeling paint as the impasto details collide with line and color to convey an image reflecting both artificial and existential humanity...a celebration of life and of style through the face of abstraction.
As for the title, I live two doors down from a private golf club, and the members are all familiar with me as I wander the course with my pups seeking… little scenes to paint. This one is dedicated to their massive passion for the sport as well as patience with me as I crisscross their world with mine.

Jon Parlangeli is a passionate American painter and sculptor who has widely exhibited his work throughout the U.S. Fascinated by the process of creation, he composes works that experiment with color and the physicality of paint. Parlangeli's creations stand out for their depth and tactility, appearing as explosions of bright color and unexpected shapes.
