About this artwork
In "Hi-tech" I wanted to start with rudimentary, functional elements with little apparent value, and observe what happened when I isolated them from their context. By doing so, they cease to be mere objects and begin to transform into form.
Emptiness, geometry, and contrast transform them into a visually powerful composition: precise and balanced. I was also interested in introducing a certain lightness, reclaiming the fun within art and the possibility… of finding beauty where, at first glance, there seems to be nothing worthy of attention.
With this photograph I try to show how the common can become something unexpected and how beauty can also emerge from the precarious, the accidental and the seemingly insignificant.
- Pigmented inks on cotton paper.
- Work signed and numbered on the back.
- Limited Edition: 1/15 + 2 artist proofs
It is shipped framed in black aluminum with a 6cm white passepartout and cardboard backing.
5mm feather. Total framed size: 71cm x 51cm.

My photographic work encompasses various themes: landscape, architecture, travel… I seek compositions with a clear, uncluttered visual language, so that once the work is finished, I want to feel that I am no longer needed. I believe that all my works can be understood by the viewer without any explanation from me, with a few exceptions where the title provides additional information. My creative process, purely emotional and introspective, could be summarized by a term, possibly invented, that I used to title my first solo exhibition: “introvision.”
Introvision: The result of the collision between beauty and perception. After a period of collapse, the brain, overwhelmed by experience, loses its need for control and, driven by unknown neural forces, pours all its energy into a single objective: to return to reality a tangible object, an object capable of reminding it that to live is to feel.
