About this artwork
“School” is part of the “Minimal” series. Here, black occupies almost the entire scene, transforming the asphalt into a surface bordering on abstraction. The word and the white lines cease to function solely as signage and instead become integral to organizing the image. This tonal inversion introduces a more graphic, urban, and direct feel to the series.

My photographic work encompasses various themes: landscape, architecture, travel… I seek compositions with a clear, uncluttered visual language, so that once the work is finished, I want to feel that I am no longer needed. I believe that all my works can be understood by the viewer without any explanation from me, with a few exceptions where the title provides additional information. My creative process, purely emotional and introspective, could be summarized by a term, possibly invented, that I used to title my first solo exhibition: “introvision.”
Introvision: The result of the collision between beauty and perception. After a period of collapse, the brain, overwhelmed by experience, loses its need for control and, driven by unknown neural forces, pours all its energy into a single objective: to return to reality a tangible object, an object capable of reminding it that to live is to feel.
