About this artwork
The essence of the domino game lies in how a single small movement can determine the entire flow—a structure that mirrors the society we live in. Political leaders, influential public figures, and even the direction of public opinion often become decisive forces that shape the whole social landscape. Thus, when the crowd makes an unwise choice, we inevitably face unpredictable consequences.
The artwork “Domino” applies this principle of the domino… effect to human society. Countless individuals stand in a row, and when the one at the very front is pushed, everyone collapses in a chain reaction—an image that reflects scenes we all too frequently witness in the real world. Through this piece, I wanted to express how choosing the wrong leader can cause the social structure we have built over a long time to crumble with alarming ease.
