Remembering the song of blackbirds, so enchantingly beautiful in spring and summer.
The peony blossoms are also of incomparable beauty. They shine in all directions. Freshly bloomed, they delight in all shades of red. As the songs of the blackbird fade away, they too lose their color and turn into pure white. Then a sunny yellow shines from within - the beauty remains...
Everything flows, blows away, changes - as can be seen in the composition… of this work of art.
With the song rising to the heavens in notes, the transformation of the peony blossoms can also be traced.
An additional charm of this picture is given by the extremely coarse drawing cardboard, which appears to be material.
