About this artwork
The large branch of a beautiful "Camelia élègance" swings over the water of the lake.
Fallen petals float in its waves. You carry with you all thoughts, all experiences, all experiences, joy and sorrow.
Even loss, deprivation or excessive pain are subject to the law of "Panta Rhei" (everything flows). Symbolically represented in the camellia blossom in the center right of the picture, which carries the "Castelli di Cannero". Something so delicate… supports something so heavy and yet flows.
This is comforting. But the flowing away of beauty, joy and love brings us back to the "carpe diem"...
