About this artwork
Venice is a city with many bridges. This was an addition to my collection in 2022 many others having been photographed in 2020 on a previous visit.
I particularly love this one for several reasons. It is close to St Mark's square, but in a slightly hidden area, it's ironwork is particularly interesting. The reflections in the canal show beautifully, partly because it's a lesser known, lesser used canal and partly because I was there at a quiet time… of day.. The golden glow of the image is also rather attractive in my view.
