About this artwork

It is another year that we have to be careful about who we see and touch but I am sending love and prayers to all the ones who lost a loved one, to everyone who have been affected by this terrible virus ! But for just a minute, a weekend or the Holidays lets see hope and happiness. This is my inspiration for this painting.

Marie Manon Corbeil began to paint amidst personal challenges:‘Between sadness and hope, there was art’. Realizing that life’s difficulties provided her with a new means of expression, Corbeil wants to convey a sense of joy within her contemporary abstract works. She draws forms and writes positive words under each canvas before beginning a piece. Employing large brushes to provoke unplanned strokes, she also uses her fingers to optimize the vibrant colors in her compositions.
