About this artwork
The former Chancellery in Bonn, now the primary office of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation (BMZ), clearly speaks the architectural language of the 1970s as a modern flat-roofed building.
Thanks to the BMZ, I was allowed to take photos on the premises, but I painted the picture itself - directly on site - through the fence.
Henry Moore's sculpture "Large Two Forms" finds its counterpart in a certain way in Eduardo Chillida's sculpture… "Berlin" in front of the Berlin Chancellery.
It brings light and positive energy to the otherwise dark building of the Chancellery, and underlines the cheerful colors of this spring scene.
