About this artwork
A house from 1720 was inhabited until 20 years ago. The artist traces old ways of life in her drawings with ink and charcoal. In this drawing she deals with the entrance of the house. A representative vault from the 19th century complements the architecture of the 18th century. A house that receives guests values the first impression.

Luise Kloos is an award-winning painter and draftsman based in Austria whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Hungary, the United States, the United Kingdom, Poland, Croatia, and Germany. Motivated by the immediacy of expression, her abstractions are created with the intent of conveying a sense of tranquility, inviting viewers into "a state that touches them deeply". Kloos's distinctive pieces are made using pencils, ink, and mineral pigments found in the Himalayas.
