About this artwork
These are the traces and signs of erased graffiti, torn posters, .... The traces and colors of the passage of time. Men wrote on this faded wall, then others came who took off the posters, scratched the messages to put their own. And time has done its work, and so has the rain.
The tones of ocher and rust, the golden light of the background combine with the streaks and traces. These traces of time and men merge into a homogeneous whole with a presence… that is both soft and strong.
