About this artwork
This painting invites us on a dreamlike journey. A journey through time, made of strange or familiar encounters. This theme of timelessness, of a time outside of time, dear to the artist, is again very present in this work.
Against a background of shades of blue and green, pierced with yellow, worn colors, marked transparencies, the traces of our stories and our encounters pass. A resolutely intimate universe, from which emanates a calm and gentle… atmosphere, but also mysterious.
The present moment has the color of the traces of time, traces of our stories and those of our predecessors. In this space-time, we walk, we pass and, in our turn, we leave our footprints. A timeless walk, an endless quest.
