FROM MY WINDOW is one of the sculptures in the TOMORROW series composed of 4 distinct pieces with very clean lines, all made of solid oak, charred then waxed.
It is a very graphic, structured, almost architectural piece. It is a drawing in space whose presence would be close to that of ink on paper.
The surface of this piece offers a texture with fine, random lines, which reinforces its presence and its tactile aspect. This surface really catches… the light.
The presence of this piece is elegant, simple and sober. The eye wanders there, discovering the volumes, plans and lines that define it.
Depending on the lighting, its lines and contours cast their shadows on the surrounding walls.
Presented on a raw steel plinth, "FROM MY WINDOW" can also be hung on a wall like a canvas.
