About this artwork
"Strolling through the garden, I was struck by the vibrant colors and textures surrounding me. With charcoal, spray paint, and various textures, I've created a large abstract painting that captures the essence of that moment. The vivid pinks and hints of green are reminiscent of the blooming flowers, while the contrasting textures evoke the roughness of the garden's stones and bark. I hope this painting brings you as much joy as my memories of that… beautiful garden."
Charcoal, Texture, Spray paint
The mediums used to create this artwork include professional grade acrylic paint, gesso and art-grade varnish which is applied to preserve and enhance the lustre. The artwork is painted on professional heavy weight primed cotton canvas.
The painting is currently unstretched. The dimensions stated allow for stretching on a 1.5"" (3.8 cm) deep gallery frame. Since the painted canvas would be wrapping around the sides, a separate frame is not required.
« I breathe art, I eat art and I am happy. Art is in my blood. Art is my life. »
Marie Manon Corbeil began to paint amidst personal challenges:‘Between sadness and hope, there was art’. Realizing that life’s difficulties provided her with a new means of expression, Corbeil wants to convey a sense of joy within her contemporary abstract works. She draws forms and writes positive words under each canvas before beginning a piece. Employing large brushes to provoke unplanned strokes, she also uses her fingers to optimize the vibrant colors in her compositions.
