In “Marsfeld CXXXX” I consciously celebrated pure color—a feast of yellow, red, blue, violet, and countless shades in between, composed of dried layers of paint that I carefully collected and arranged by hand.
For me, this work is a vibrant web of color, almost like a carpet of pure energy. The color fragments seem like a sedimented archive of painterly moments, condensed here into a new image. The surface is tactile and vibrant—it demands proximity,… attention, and a second glance.
Although it may appear almost chaotic at first glance, the composition is based on a precise order. I arrange it intuitively yet precisely—searching for an inner rhythm that oscillates between density and emptiness, light and shadow, tension and calm.
