About this artwork
In "Field of Mars CXXXII," I work with a sea of the finest paint residues—tiny fragments from previous paintings that I collect, sort, and condense into new pictorial spaces. It's a dense, vibrating field that can evoke digital disturbances, geological textures, or distant satellite images.
This apparent unrest is no coincidence: each fragment was deliberately placed. I'm fascinated by the interplay of chaos and order, of mass and meaning. And… if you look closely, you'll also notice a subtle crater here—a slight depression, like a faded imprint, a memory.
I see the work as a kind of landscape—but not a real one. Rather, it's an inner, emotional topography. It oscillates between abundance and emptiness, between memory and presence.
