About this artwork
RE20 is a work about transformation – about what remains when everything else is over. Born from the leftover paint of an experimental process, this painting rises from what was originally intended as a "byproduct." But from the accidental, a focal point emerged: a dense, organic composition that oscillates between lava flow, geological structure, and urban graffiti.
A glowing, orange border frames the painterly core, giving the work a powerful,… almost iconic presence. The textures are multi-layered – flows of color, splashes, and streaks overlap, as if a story were unfolding from the inside out. The supposed "leftovers" become protagonists of an independent artistic expression.
RE20 embodies not only the magic of the material, but also the beauty of the unplanned. It is an image that doesn't conceal the traces of its creation, but celebrates them – raw, honest, vibrant.
