In “RE 23,” a quiet force is revealed, oscillating between transience and transformation. The painted imprint appears like an archaeological find—as if it had not been painted, but discovered. The transparent structure, characterized by cool blues and warm earth tones, stretches across the canvas like a skin, telling of traces left behind, of the echoes of inner movements.
The rough texture of the paint application creates depth – not through perspective,… but through emotion. What appears to be an abstract landscape is in truth an inner terrain: fragments of thoughts, feelings, transitions. The work avoids loud pronouncements and finds its strength in the in-between – in the process of searching and finding.
This work was created in 2025 as part of the series "Remnants of an Experiment," which explores the materiality of paint and the poetry of chance. Every fragment is an echo. And this one speaks softly—but clearly.
