New York is one of Michael's favourite cities in the world bursting with some of the greatest architecture in the world When the Flat Iron was completed in 1902 the New York Tribune described it as 'a stingy piece of pie'! Michael couldn't disagree more.
This piece is created from one of Michael's original photograph and digitally coloured by hand. The image is printed on a slim sheet of brushed aluminium giving it an etched appearance. This brings… out the incredibly intricate detail of this historic gem, and the vivid pink of the sky contrasts nicely with the grey finish of the Flatiron itself. The pink sky puts all the focus on it's beauty - well deserved Michael suggests.
