About this artwork
A partially textured piece as some sand was mixed into the primer. Which gives it that certain 'chalky' appearance.
This is another work whereby I did or tried to get out of my comfort zone...I have used many different materials and tools over a 2 week period..such as self-made stamps, as you can see on the right hand side-the red ones- and some blue ones on the left. As I've done before, I gave the whole piece an aged look. This is due not only… through layering but also through wiping, scraping and sponging...it takes quite a bit of focusing..
"Intertwined" is an original abstract painting that invites you to explore its rich textures and nuanced layers. The artist has skillfully blended acrylic, ink, and spray paint on canvas, creating a captivating visual experience. A unique chalky appearance was achieved by mixing sand into the primer, adding depth and tactile interest to the surface.
« Always balancing light and dark to create something unique and beautiful. »
