About this artwork
This painting is one of a series completed during the pandemic. I never know exactly why I chose to make any of my paintings. They ideas arrive unbidden out of my subconscious. I don't question why. I have learnt to trust myself and follow my intuition. Whether this arises out of my concern about the harm we are doing to our environment or a liking for scantily clad girls is for you to decide. sea as you can get. Perhaps, because we weren't allowed to make unnecessary journeys during the lockdowns I yearned to be on the coast (there is nothing like telling me 'I can't do something' that makes me want to do it even more).
