About this artwork
Many years ago, as a young man, I followed in my father's footsteps and ran away to sea. Both my father and I were lured back to dry land by our love for a woman. His love was my mother, they stayed together for over fifty years until death parted them. My own love later became my wife and I hope to repeat the longevity of my parents relationship.
