About this artwork
The labyrinth of beams is made from a single piece of beech wood that has been stained a light reddish color. Indentations and drilled holes were formed into small edges and mini beams according to the angled lines drawn. My aim was to create the illusion of a structure made from individual parts. The windows and square nesting make the work look more like an architectural structure. A round, screwed steel plate serves as the base.
