About this artwork
The basic material of the ear base is a block of ash wood. This blank was shaped like a drawn oval with a leg-like extension. I first tapered this extension and then used it as a base using a glued and screwed round metal plate. The oval upper part was transformed into the characteristic, pointed leaf shape and hollowed out like a bowl. In my world, I associate the product with an abstracted ear.
