This majestic edifice is just around the corner from my art studio. I was struck by the way its silhouette stood boldly against the dark, stormy night sky. I liked the contrast between the warm, creamy beige, the color of Paris, of the palimpsest collage, and left it as sort of a semi-abstraction, contrasting the architecture against the tumultuous tumble of an impending storm.
